The scheduled interview at UPS Pune (2 PM) for the Customer Support Representative role was handled in a very unprofessional and poorly organized manner. Around 30 candidates were present, but there was no proper coordination or clear communication from the recruiter team.
Candidates were asked to wait for many hours without breaks, proper seating space, or updates. There were also no proper systems or headsets arranged, and candidates were repeatedly moved between floors without clear instructions.
It is understandable if a company cannot accept a candidate, but it is not acceptable to call and schedule candidates for an interview and later say they are not eligible. Basic checks should be done before scheduling interviews to avoid wasting candidates’ time and effort.
Overall, the process reflected poor planning and lack of respect for candidates.
