Had a call from recruiter followed by a online code review test. The intent of the test was to modify existing code with predefined functions & interfaces to get the expected result in allocated time. It's just a measure of your coding skill under time constraint. If one has been coding in golang for a year coupled with some dedicated online coding practice tests you can easily nail it. To me it looks like they are looking for college interns with specialized coding skills. Recruiter was open minded but the tech screening process seems too narrowly focused.
