Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez U.S. Senate (Newark, NJ) en juin 2010
Entretien
After a brief email exchange (I was out of the USA) I arranged a phone interview in place of the standard in-person interview. The Phone interview was brief. They asked three questions 1) Why did I want to work for Senator Menendez 2) Why did I want to work in a constituent service office as opposed to working in D.C. 3)Describe a difficult situation at a previous job and how you handled it. After the questions they provided me with a verbal description of the job. The next day I received an email explaining I'd have an in-person interview when I returned to the USA, but in reality it was just a formality and they merely showed me around the office.

1 interview. Discussion focused on why I wanted to work in a Senate office, experience dealing with combative people, and how I would respond to a question I didn’t know the answer to.

Entretien
Application included two written statements, resume, three recommendations, and a cover letter. I had one phone screening interview with operations staff. A few emails and received an offer letter 2-3 weeks after screening.
Standard questions. Why are you interested, what is your experience and education, why work for this committee. Just one staffer who was only a few years older than me, so it felt pretty relaxed.
