Applied. Got an email response from a recruiter requesting availability. Setup up first call. Thought it went well. The role aligned perfectly with my background and previous experience. Recruiter mentioned that the role would start as a contact opportunity with possibility of extension. Said he thought I was a good candidate. Mentioned sharing my info with hiring team and moving fairly quickly through the interview process. I never heard another word from him after this. Completely ghosted. My guess is that after hearing my voice he secretly felt I wouldn't be a good culture fit.
