Slow, misleading, and disappointing process at Twilio. I applied and waited three months for a response. I then received an email from the recruiter thanking me for being an internal referral, having spent time in the process, and in meeting their whole team. The trouble was none of that was true. The company never interviewed me much less allowed me to meet their team. It took 15 days to get a response back from the company after multiple other departments had to repeatedly nudge HR into making contact via email. They would not talk to me about this and have simply told me it was a mistake. They did not offer to look over my resume, find another opening, or do anything to repair the damage caused by their recruiter pretending to interview candidates. Looking through the other recent interviews on Glassdoor shows the company appears to be having trouble with recruitment. It is disappointing to not be given a chance and then have the company pretend to interview you. Their initial email showcased a 2-4 week process of hiring and how their company is building the future of communications. I hope for everyone's sake they are not the future of communication as those promises and many more in our communication were broken.
