J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Twilio (San Francisco, CA) en août 2011

      Entretien

I initially spoke to a recruiter over the phone who performed a phone screen to vet my resume/application. The very loud background noises were heavily distracting. I was extended an invitation to interview in their office, and discovered the reason for the loud phone calls -- the office is primarily one large open area with few walls. It's a cool office, with a well-stocked kitchen, has unisex bathrooms and 2 conference rooms, one that has a drumset and guitars! Even the CEO is in the open areas with the rest of the employees. It is definitely a loud environment, but overall a great space. I had five consecutive one hour interviews, ending with the CEO. They had a planned agenda for my visit, but I was unaware of who I was meeting at any given time; at the end of most interviews I would be asked who I was meeting with next, but I couldn't say because I wasn't provided the itinerary. Most of the people I spoke with were cordial and clearly each was highly intelligent, but I wouldn't describe them as warm or welcoming. I was clearly the oldest person in their office, by far, and I'm in my early 40's. I asked some key questions about the organization and its' intended future and was given circuitous non-answers. The company claims to reimburse for travel expenses for onsite interviews, but several weeks later and several unreturned contacts make me wonder. This is an organization with some incredible minds behind the incredible technology, but my experience was not particularly positive.
