It is a two week long process where you fly out to Seattle to their head office to take part in their training. Essentially they train and interview you at the same time. They put you up in these really nice apartments, take you out to lunch and dinner, you get to meet a lot of the staff and tour the head office. The position you are training/interviewing for is to be out there as the face of Trupanion in partnership with them, so they want to get to know you as a person to ensure you are a good fit. You take on some risk by affording the flight to go out, however if you are successful they pay to bring you back for further training. It is intense but a lot of fun, you get to meet some really great people. Something to keep in mind is that two weeks is for you as well, to decide if this is the company you want to work for, so they are being interviewed just as much as you are.

First interview was by phone chatting with one of their recruiters to make sure the details of the job were clear and I would be able to meet the basic specifications for this position. The second interview was with a general manager who review the basics and assisting in making my business plan.
