I faced 2 rounds of interview and they said congratulations and I need to join from tomorrow as freelancer and I will get offer tomorrow. But suddenly they sent me a code assessment after a week and that was not actual assessment but a WHOLE MODULE. I spent my one week and delivered it then never hear from them. After some time I got to know actually they get their work done in name of ASSESSMENT targeting multiple candidates for a requirement. One of my friend also applied through indeed faced same thing. We reviewed each other's assessment's code quality and all and believe me that was upto the mark. So my personal opinion you should deny any assessment by these people they are asking you to share the code repo. If you do not want to waste your 3-4 days work.
