J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Treeline Interactive

      Entretien

I was contacted immediately after my application went through. I was interviewed for one hour to check my background and to know me better. Then they sent me an assignment that took approximately 10 hours. The task was to create a Trello clone, front end (with drag &drop and react), and back end (node express server)! Then they interviewed me for another one and a half hours (final round) where they dug deeper into my background and to check my engineering skills. And after so much, they even asked me to give two references, which I gave. And after a week, they got back to me saying that they think they need someone with more experience despite having my resume, which stated all my three years of experience clearly. Horrible process and an awful way to treat an interviewee! The job description said nothing about any specific years of experience, and even though I had more than 3 yrs of experience for an entry-level Jr. position, they were not "satisfied." They went right up to the last phase of hiring and even contacted my references (who, by the way, said, gave brilliant recommendations) and then rejected. Worst process ever! PS: I just wanted to mention all this so that no one else goes through this again. Trust me; it's not worth the time for people who don't know the value of Engineers! The same week I got an assessment from another company (can't give name here... glassdoor's policy!) as well, and another company (FAANG!) too began its process of interviewing me! One of these two companies sent me a $200 gift card right after I submitted my assignment (this is how you show appreciation of candidate's hard work of 8 hrs, no matter the outcome!) and called me to schedule the next round the following week& finally sent me an offer. But I ended up accepting other company's offer (FAANG!) since it was more competitive. Seriously guys, don't waste your time behind these people. It's not worth it! Go to companies, whose process is so smooth and humane & appreciate your talent. I would never recommend this horrible company!

We're sorry you were not happy with the interview process. We try to be clear at the outset of the process what our expectations are for the role. We fell short on our communication with you as we did not consider the job you applied to as a Junior position. We are working to add better guidelines in our job posts, such as desired years of experience & more specific qualifications. We also try to be clear with feedback for those that are invited to participate in the technical task: what is expected and what we are looking for when we discuss it after an applicant's completion. The technical discussion around the task is an important factor in the decision making. Offering cash for completion of the task is an interesting approach and we'll consider it in the future. Happy that you found a role for yourself, that you are excited for. We are learning and making adjustments from your feedback, so thank you for the taking the time.
