The application process asked for you to submit a work sample and facilitator guide. There was no system in place to acknowledge that the application was received. I had to send a follow up email inquiring if it was received, there was no response and then the hiring manager reached our for an interview. I was moved to the second round which was a "Try-On Task" which is very time consuming and you had to schedule a feedback session with the person that would be your manager before submitting. I was given two days to make any changes then I was informed 2 weeks later I would not be moving forward. This process seemed very backwards since I was not given a chance to meet and discuss my task like most companies have you do. I was given the option for feedback as to why I wasn't selected and it was very generic feedback and it felt like they were searching for something to find wrong with my task. They only called out two minor things. If this is any sign of how they do business or the competence of the team I think it was best I was not selected.
I wouldn't say the process was difficult it was time consuming and not considerate of candidate's time especially by not allowing a discussion about the task and them making assumptions.

I applied for the role at the end of April. I was contacted the day after I submitted my application and had my first interview shortly thereafter. Once I was notified that I made it to the next round, I was given a list of 6 steps that the hiring process follows. What followed was a four-month interview process that included 7 interviews and additional calls with HR. During this time they changed the hiring process/added additional steps, put hiring for the role on pause without notifying me, and changed the scope of the role midway through the hiring process. I was told numerous times that I was at the end of their process, only for the goalpost to continually be moved farther. Their stated commitment to alleged hiring equity was overshadowed by the wildly inconsiderate process, frequent delays, and lack of respect for the distress of job searchers.
