J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez TransUnion (Austin, TX) en sept. 2014
Entretien
I applied online via TransUnion.com and I was contacted within 2 weeks by a recruiter for an initial telephone interview with HR. I was then moved along in the process and had a phone interview with a Sr. Director, followed by an in-person interview. My interview at the local office lasted about 4 hours, and I met with 7 people. The questions were a mix of behavioral questions, a case question, and a job-related role-play/skill test. Everyone I met with was very professional and friendly, but not stodgy. You could definitely tell that the people I met with were very intelligent passionate about their work, and I felt during the interview process that I would like working with that team.
Overall, the process took about 4 weeks including offer and negotiation, and HR followed-up promptly every step of the way. The resulting salary offer was very good, and new employees have generous PTO compared to other places I interviewed. Benefits are average, and the company does strive for work life balance at all level, and is starting to implement limited telework. They were also very flexible setting my start date since I needed about a month to transition my prior job to another manager.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Overall the interview wasn't very difficult, but I did have to convince the team that I could adapt from being a program manager over huge enterprise IT projects in a huge organization, to becoming a product manager in a mid-size company in a business unit with more of a maturing start-up culture.

I interviewed with TransUnion, specifically for the Specialized Risk Group, and found the process to be unclear and inconsistent. The role’s scope and responsibilities seemed to shift throughout the interviews, and additional steps were introduced that were not communicated upfront, making it difficult to understand expectations or the overall process.

Question 1
Typical background and behavioral interview questions.
Had the worst interview experience, HR never provide any update until you follow up. The interview process took more than a few months, and they never let you know the results of the interviews
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez TransUnion en sept. 2025
Entretien
I interviewed for the Product Manager position with the SRG group.
I want to begin by saying that my experience with this specific recruiter was really professional and one of the best.
But the process with the SRG group just was not up to the mark, highly lacking value for the candidate's time and energy.
The entire process lasted longer than 2 months. They'd schedule time for an interview in an urgency, but once the interview was completed, they'd suddenly go dark. I had no idea if am I proceeding to the next steps or not, and as a candidate you try to not be pushy.
The recruiter would work hard to get feedback from the team so she could communicate with me, but I could make out how tiresome that was for her as well.
After what was supposed to be my last round, I heard nothing for over 2 weeks. And then they came back saying that they wanted to have another last round. Sure, lets do it. After that, there was silence for another 2 weeks and I heard back from the recruiter that they re-opened the position.
So basically, after interviewing for 2 whole months, they opened up the position again with zero explanation on why or what was the reasoning behind this decision.
If this is how they treat a candidate, this was not the place for me,
You can tell a lot about how the team works from the way they interview and interact with you.
I could see their lack of process and communication from my 2 months of interacting with them.

Questions around prioritization, how I do it.
Balancing between compliance and non-compliance projects.
