I submitted my resume online and within two weeks, I was contacted by the recruiter for a phone screen. After a week, I went for an in-person interview with the Senior PM and branch manager and also had a phone screen with the Client Services Director. A week later, the recruiter called to tell me they were extending an offer and a few days after that, I got an official offer via email. They kept postponing my start date because they were figuring out my visa situation (which they were aware of from the beginning). In the end after continuous reassurance on my candidacy for 2 weeks, they withdrew the offer on the Friday before I was supposed to begin working. Apparently, the hidden terms are, they would like you to work 45-50 hours per week which isn't listed in the offer letter and pay you below industry standards as well. Since my visa status did not allow me to work more than 40 hours, they withdrew my offer at the last minute. I got a much better opportunity now and firmly believe I dodged a bullet. Please beware of Transperfect and the terms surrounding the offer. Overall very unprofessional and unreliable company with zero transparency. I lost two weeks of job searching thinking I had a job in hand already.
