One of the best interview experiences I've ever had! My process went as follows:
1. Submitted online application on 10/8.
2. Got an email the very next day asking me to call the store and schedule an interview.
3. Called the store on 10/10, and scheduled an in-person interview for 10/11.
4. Went to the first interview on 10/11; it was a laid-back conversation with two Mates. They explained their roles, culture, and what I should expect from the Crew position. The questions were centered around customer service, teamwork, and availability. Be prepared to answer "Tell me about a time..." scenarios.
5. On 10/14, they called back to schedule a second interview with the store's Captain and a Mate.
6. Went to the second and final interview on 10/17, which was lovely. This time, the questions were centered on my work experience, teamwork/collaboration, and customer interactions. Honestly, it felt like a conversation between people who love Trade Joe's more than an interview.
7. Got an email on 10/21, offering me the job!

1 phone call, two in person, never got the job. Short and simple interview, the third one was long but it was just the employee yapping about the job and what they do. Pretty lame considering they already knew they weren’t going to hire me. Said they were gonna call me and never did. Just call and say that you don’t wanna hire me and move on, how hard is that?
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself (classic). Why Trader Joe's, tell me about a time where you provided excellent service, etc pretty basic and easy questions.

Applications in my area are accepted in-person and online. I'd applied online.
There were two interviews: one with two mates (supervisors) and one with the captain (store manager).
Communication was excellent; I was not left waiting long, though I do not recall exact timeframes.
I am not sure how to speak to interview difficulty. Compared to what? Two interviews is 'easy' compared to other processes I have gone through. The care going into the decision was just as careful though, it seems to me. So, 'difficult'. Questions were largely in the behavioral category, and it helped to have a few examples in mind. So, 'average'.

Question 1
Of course, they wanted to see how I'd handled various challenges in the past. While both interviews wanted to feel out if I (and my availability) would be a good fit, they were also intentional about prompting me to think about if they would be a good fit for me.
I do not remember the exact questions asked.
