I literally walked in, and back to the area where the managers are, to hand in my application. The girl I spoke to asked me what I needed, I told her, and another man came out of the swinging doors, took my application, flipped through the 2 pages briefly, and said "so, why do you want to work for Trader Joe's?" There were people everywhere, we didn't walk to a private area or anything. I told him several of the reasons I wanted to work there. Listed below. He pretty much told me that you have to have weekends marked on your availability, since that is their busiest time. I already have a part time job, and this would be a second one. I'm sure I would have had a chance had I been able to work Sat/Sun., but when he saw that, the interview was pretty much done. A real shame. I would have loved to work for them, and I know they are a great company.
