High pressure interviewers, pay no good. Interview process was ok not hard not easy. No one at the company seems to be keeping their lights on - they look burned out

Data structures and algorithms, basic ML then a take-home
3 rounds interviews: Head call, hr call, onsite interview, on site is the most difficult and important one, no online coding test. Be careful with it. Just make sure you have a good understanding of their product

How to design a end to end system for a data product
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Trade Republic en sept. 2025
Entretien
1. Screening round with a team lead. Moved to onsite after this.
2. Onsite: first interview with two data scientists, second with a PM.
3. Rejection email after 4 days.
Things I liked:
- HR, both online and in person, were kind, helpful, and timely.
- Nice office. Good hacker-house vibes.
Things I didn’t like:
- The DS interviewers showed limited technical depth.
Feedback I received:
- I was told I added unnecessary complexity and that simple prompt design would have been enough. My view: an agentic system is a software pipeline. Adding validation, guardrails, and determinism is not overkill. It is how you improve reliability.
