Spoke with a recruiter about some personal projects. Then had a 1on1 with hiring manager. Hiring manager did not ask any technical questions, and started the interview talking about coding using generative A.I. and how it's easy to code now. He then spent most of his time asking about UI style and design, which felt strange considering this is for an engineering role, not as UX/UI designer.
