Quick phone interview with recruiter to see if you qualify (most everyone does). The recruiter sets up a face to face interview with them, as well as the broker who runs the office (forgot title), and a senior LAE. Tell them what they want to hear and you can get hired. Especially if you tell them you are self motivated, and money is big motivation. They want you to be money hungry so you will go sell!
There was also a brief computer test. Basic geography, math, time zones, etc. If you have a high school education, you should pass. Maybe a personality test as well, via computer. I can't remember.
After your interview, they conduct a background check. As long as you don't have any convictions, or multiple DWI's etc., you will pass by their standards. When they get the results, you get hired, assuming you passed.
I honestly didn't really try in my interview. I did not care that much. This was a back-up plan for another job I was hired for, pending a background check. You had to have a PERFECT record for the job I applied for. Unfortunately, I had a DWI (dismissed) that got me denied.
Point being....I barely tried, and still got hired. No preparation whatsoever. Whole process took approx. 1 week. I don't remember exactly, but about that.
I rate this interview THUMBS UP, because no interview is a "bad" interview. Either way, you gain face to face interview experience. The more the better when job hunting!
