Was kind of weird because there was 2 people. 1 did all of the talking, and the other stayed quiet and didn't seem too interested, or involved. In fact he just seemed like he was burned out and tired of working in field service. He never asked any questions at all. His boss on the other hand was friendly and very knowledgable. It seems like even though he is the upper level management, he would be running the show. When asked what his management style was, he said he was hands off. Turned out that he was a micromanager, to the fullest extent.

I was initially contacted by a third party recruiter. The company caught my attention. The position, pay and benefits seem to be a good fit for me. Until my then-present company promoted me and gave me a pay raise. A week later, I had a face to face interview with the hiring managers. I wanted to hear what they can offer me as I could have brought a lot to the table. The couldn't as I had disclosed my recent promotion and pay raise. It seemed to all of us that the position would have been a step back for me.
