4 Interviews all Skype-generated. The first interview was clearly a communication assessment; the second was skills-based, i.e, I had to do some sourcing for them in real time. The last two interviews were very informal. Comp was discussed in the 3rd interview, and yes, it was low, based on my proficiency and skill level. Everything was great until the last interview with someone at the VP level. He was totally unprepared; no resume, had no idea who I was what I had achieved professionally, so I felt forced to take control of the meeting and he didn't respond well to that. There was no offer extended. Interesting points; 1. Final decision not to extend an offer was shared with me weeks later on Skype which struck me as odd. 2. Of the 4 people who interviewed me, 3 of them had left Toptal within six months.
