UX folks beware. This is a complete waste of time! Process was a bit tedious. I'm always weary of companies who want you to create a concept and present it to them (Google does it, but it's Google..so there's that). Anyway I spent more than the allotted time (8hours) coming up with a 'concept' for an app, and treated like the UX portion of a client pitch complete with research, competitive review, user scenarios and personas. I also included high level sketches and rationale behind the idea. The person interviewing me was a graphic designer that failed to ask anything about my UX processes. In the end I was told i can 'reapply' in 3 months for the pleasure of being assigned another concept to present. Thanks but no thanks. Waste. of. time.
