Phone interview with hiring manager was different. I would’ve liked a video component personally as it’s hard with no ability to read body language. Also had a call with an HR or recruiting person, also a phone call.

Phone interview with recruiting team, phone interview with hiring manager, in person interview with 5 people (3 managers, hiring manager, and their manager). The main questions were related to why toast and generally how my experience aligned with the job description. I think ultimately they didn't hire me based on my experience level (which all is public accounting) and their lack of similar experience in their own past. Considering this was the feedback after the first hiring manager and should have been known after reviewing my resume it felt like they dragged me on for a bit in the process when ultimately they were looking for other backgrounds/experience. Everyone was very nice and that was my only negative during the process.
