The typical software engineering interview process often includes several stages, each designed to assess different aspects of a candidate's skills and knowledge. Candidates are usually asked about various computer science fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking. They may also be questioned on framework-specific patterns, which involve understanding how to effectively use particular programming frameworks or libraries that are relevant to the job. Additionally, candidates are often presented with algorithmic problems to solve, which test their problem-solving abilities, coding skills, and understanding of time and space complexity.
