Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez TikTok
Entretien
initial call with HR - was held on whatsapp which was a bit strange imo, also had to reschedule a few times as the call didn’t come through for some reason? maybe because it was a china number. lady was really nice and friendly though
interview with team member - pretty standard interview questions. thought it was weird she didn’t ask me to run through my resume
case study with same team member - case study was quite poorly structured imo, if i want to compare it with other case studies i have done. questions were unclear and data given was too limited to make any insightful recommendations. most of it was guess work and generic recommendations with a whole load of assumptions. you’re also expected to familiarize yourself with how the product works in order to provide recommendations which was hard to do because we’re not trained on the product?
interview with team lead - there were repeated questions being asked from the second round’s interview. seems like no communication between the interviewers? questions asked were kind of weird…? i would have had to know the product well enough to give good answers. other weird qns included “imagine i’m the client and i want you to pitch an idea to me” not sure what angle the interviewer was looking for because it was way to broad. seems like qns where either too broad or specific.
imo the interviews didn’t test much on one’s analytical thinking and probably one of the poorest interview i’ve sat through. frankly just glad the whole process is over and am happy to be rejected because i don’t want to go through any more rounds.
I had a screening interview with the recruiter and then directly with the manager, which I personally didn’t like because I felt as he was making me a favour to be there
Hr called me, asked me a few questions, intro, why you leave your current company, are you actively looking for new opportunities etc. The interview progress is smooth, and pass me to hiring manager round very smoothly.
5 stages, very long process but they do it quickly if they want you. good compensation, very good benifits. the interviews are also not horrid, they ask reasonable questions. oh my god why does it need to be so long
