      Entretien

The interview started with a call with a recruiter and they made me do a take home assignment after. I withdrew from the interview process because I thought if the hiring manager didn't want to invest 30-min to talk to me why I should put efforts in the assignment? The recruiter called me back and offered me to speak with the hiring manager. I took that as a good gesture and I went back into the process. Spoke with the hiring manager and agreed to take the assignment. The assignment itself is a good overview of the real work but it required 2 days of work. The asked me to do analysis of 2 years of data, give recommendations, build analytics roadmap and do monthly 2019 forecast for 5 KPIs. 5 times 12 so 60 projections. After putting so much efforts into it. The recruiter got back to me and told me that they were not moving me forward. I asked for feedback, no reply. I feel that there were many red flags from the interview process. If they can't respect their candidates and value the candidates' time, I wonder how much respect and value they give to their full time employees. I think I will not consider this company for future opportunities because of how they treated me. I also question the ethicality of giving assignments that contain data close to real values and making candidates spend more than 8 hours of work to complete during the interview process.
