Given the time and effort invested on both sides, receiving an automated rejection email at the end felt impersonal and disappointing, especially after what appeared to be in-depth conversations about mutual values and cultural fit. I understand that hiring decisions can be difficult and competitive, but a more human and transparent closure to such a rigorous process would go a long way in upholding the Thoughtworks reputation for empathy and integrity—values that were emphasized throughout the interviews.
