Entretien
There were two rounds of interviews for the role. The first round was answering questions related to my past work experience and understanding the process work being done at Thorlabs.
The final round after a week was more of a case study involving investigating a past quality issue they had encountered. The whole process lasted four and a half hours where I was given the case and a few samples to begin a root cause analysis of the quality of the product. At the end of it I had to prepare my findings into a presentation and explain it to the panel. However, the process was too intimidating as it was challenging to produce high quality insights when the goal was to solve the supplier quality issue within a limited amount of time.
The panel was only supposed to have a limited personnel to review my presentation but I was worried when more staff members were present to see my findings. Overall, it felt challenging and unnecessary to have such a strenuous process.

It was quite fast process but not appropriate at all. If HR invite your future team colleagues to meet you at the end of the interview, you would have some positive feedback regarding the results. But it was not happen. The process should be handled more professionally
