used a head hunter, pulled in about 5 people all at once, conducted a joint interview, then a personal interview with the HR group. They had to suspend the process for a few days due to some urgent business then they called me back to arrange a follow up interview. I took time off work to do that and on the day of the interview that head hunter called to say that they had promoted from within, so sorry.
