Entretien
I was first invited to a telephone interview after they reviewed my application with HR which covered very basic first interview questions. E.g. "how did you prepare for the transition from school to university?", questions about handling awkward situations in the workplace, what I understood about the role, etc. Following that I was invited to the next interview which was split into two parts. First part required to case study, where I was given a hypothetical project to break down, second part asked competency based questions, following the general role description as advertised in the job description.

What would be your actions if a client contacted you asking for advice on investing in the French wine oak barrel industry? e.g. break down value chain and identify all the factors that a client would have to consider

Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Given this case industry, what types of industry experts would you contact on behalf of a client who is looking to invest in a company within that sector.
Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
