Quick. Was contacted for a phone interview the morning after I submitted my application. Had that within a week, then got called back for an in-person interview within another week. The in-person interview was conducted at their NYC office in two rounds: the first with VP and supervisor, and the second with supervisor and an experienced employee who I understood would be my manager if offered the position.
Questions were somewhat repetitive given that I was speaking to different people, but that just made it easier for me to craft more coherent answers. Standard walkthrough of my resume, questions easy to answer with the STAR method (listed in other interview reviews on this site). Some questions were a bit bizarre, especially considering this is an entry level position (for example, tell us about a time you worked to meet a quota or were compared to a numerical standard) but not difficult to improvise an answer to.
Also, the weirdest part of the interview was a "case study" where I had to map out the different stakeholders for an industry. Something that was a bit frustrating about this part was that I would use words (i.e. "concerns related to trade agreements") that were not the specific ones my interviewer was looking for despite meaning more or less the same thing (in that case, she wanted to hear me say something about issues with importing and exporting).
Overall, a pretty easy interview if you're prepared. Make sure you've done your homework and know 1. what third bridge is, and 2. the details about the job you've applied for. It seems they also like to hire people who have extensive experience talking to strangers on the phone, so if you've ever done phone banking for a political candidate or worked in some sort of similar setting, make sure you mention that.

Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Question 1
Given this case industry, what types of industry experts would you contact on behalf of a client who is looking to invest in a company within that sector.
Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
