A mix of formal and informal. Initially started with a tour around the venue, a large former priory situated 15 minutes out of York. I was made to feel welcome immediately by the general manager, who gave me a thorough tour around the building, showing me all the quirky and interesting features of the building. We then sat down for a more traditional interview, which included some less-traditional questions.
