I spoke with two of the senior-most executives, including the founder. Unfortunately, most of the information shared by them during the interview was misleading and/or outright false.
I discovered that one of the executives that I spoke with, was an external consultant posing as a full-time employee. The headcount shared during these calls was also false (2x of the actual count).
I was made to believe that they had an in-house technology team that included a full-time leader (with an illustrious background). I discovered that neither the team nor the individual existed on the company payroll. They later admitted that the technology development was outsourced to a vendor.
