I applied online through their website. The interview process took 8 weeks which is long for this type of position, but I was told the company wanted to ensure a good fit, which I admired and respected. Phone screen followed by three in person interviews of over an hour each, and then a final phone interview of about an hour. I was told everything went great and references were being checked, and I would hear back in two days. A few days went by...nothing. A week later, I reached out by e-mail, never to hear back. At that point, I didn't expect to hear from them and wrote it off. The recruiting team had been kind of aggressive early on with phone calls during working hours and after 6 PM, to the point of annoyance, especially after I voiced that it was difficult for me to answer calls at work, which I felt they were not respectful of. To be hounded early on only to end up “ghosted”, I felt, conveyed a lack of leadership and empathy, which was surprising for a company that proclaims to treat employees "like family" (per the recruitment team/Glassdoor reviews which I now question as they seem to be overly positive). I did finally receive a curt rejection call weeks later saying that they chose another candidate.
