Entretien
There was an initial phone screening that lasted 30 minutes. After that, I was contacted to interview virtually with two managers of Crisis Workers (both had under 2 months at Trevor). My interview was decent and I was told that if I were to move on, I would have one last interview.

Q: What are some skills or strengths that you could utilize in this role?
Q: Name a situation or event where you had to make a difficult decision.
Q: What areas of crisis would you need extra training on (ex. self-harm, religious abuse, substance abuse, etc.)?
Q: Which identities in the LGBTQIA+ atmosphere do you need more knowledge?
There was a scenario where they presented three paragraphs as a role-play scenario. The scenario was that Sue, a 19 year old lesbian who was in a relationship with Marissa (also 19) woke up next to Marissa's brother Kevin (26) after a night of drinking and found out she was pregnant. I was asked what I would do if Sue reached out via the Trevor hotline.

Entretien
The entire process from speaking with a recruiter to being hired took 3 months. The interviews are very thorough and multi-process. There were three interviews in total. The recruitment team was very helpful and kept in touch throughout the process to assure me that despite how long it was taking things were still moving forward. The interviews made the job duties and drawbacks of the job very clear. One of the better interview experiences I've had.
