DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I went through three panel interviews and a presentation over a month for them to tell me they decided to promote internally but I have so much to offer. It's disrespectful to get someone so involved and excited about a role to promote internally. I don't recommend going through this process if they aren't transparent about the odds and they are looking internally.
