J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez The Home Depot en juil. 2011
Entretien
Week One:
Recruiter contact and scheduled phone interview.
Phone interview lasted about 20 minutes, leadership and p&l type questions
My recruiter had a strong understanding of retail, she wasn't just reading questions and looking for generic responses. Recruiter loved my knowledge and scheduled me for tests and an interview amongst my competition.
Week Two
A few days prior to my assessment; I was required to visit a store and note observations, following an email guide.
I went to the store took tests interviewed, and met some of my competition:
Test were on
P&L/Gross Margin/store balance sheets.
Customer Service
Leadership
After the tests....
I did a behavioral interview with an SM. These consist of describing actions that you have taken to resolve issues etc. (professional examples are best but use school and life examples if you're low on experience)
Next day my recruiter called to let me know that they were impressed and wanted to take the next step.
A few weeks later;
Another, longer behavioral session with two SM's.
Two days later formal offer........
Drug Screen, Background, Hire Packet....done
I'm excited and ready to get started.

Entretien
There was a phone interview followed by an in person interview. I thought it was a smooth process and ended up getting an offer. I would have accepted but ended up accepting at a different company.
Talked to manager, applied online. Did not get the position. I wish to reapply in a early future. They seems very nice and kind group of workers. I would definitely try again.
Had phone interview and then took an assessment. Got an email for an interview but no phone call. Got told position was filled even though the position is still posted.
