J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez The Hartford (San Antonio, TX) en oct. 2024
Entretien
After I applied I received a phone interview from someone from their Connecticut home office. She was a recruiter. She asked about my employment history. My resume only had one. Although it didnt say you needed experience in this particular role, she wanted experience. The interview was short. I had limited experience and a degree in public health. If you are a good fit for the role you'll be called back to interview with the branch manger at the location/ city where you'll be potentially working.

I had a brief phone interview, lasted about 15 minutes. The recruiter asked why I wanted to work at the Hartford. We went over my last 5 years of work history. She explained the role and day to day. I was scheduled for a second interview.

HR was very personable and I enjoyed my conversation with the recruiter.
I had an initial phone screening and then the video interview took place the very next day. I was told to answer in STAR format, but was told to concentrate on liability over bodily injury, because the manager wanted to make sure that we had the right foundation and bi can always be trained more later.
I didn’t even end up interviewing with that manager, but with two other people. It was a bit off putting because only one person had their camera on, but that person was just sitting there and didn’t really seem engaged or that she wanted to be there. The more engaged individual did not have their camera on and I was just staring at their name on the screen while trying to answer their questions, which by the way were not questions I had reviewed ahead of time. None of the scenarios I had prepped seemed to match their questions, which was discouraging.
I didn’t have a good feeling after the interview and sure enough, I received a rejection email the very next morning and the position was taken down right away. The entire process took 2 days. Although I will admit that this wasn’t my best interview, the whole process felt very rushed, which made me feel like their decision was already made before I even interviewed. I felt like the two people I interviewed with didn’t really want to be there and I thought it was incredibly strange that everyone’s camera was not on.
