I initially had an phone interview with the Operations Manager, Hailey Shipman which lasted around 30 minutes. The second interview was a video interview with the Managing Partner, Robert Fuentes, the Operations Manager and an Associate in the local office.

Shortly after I submitted my resume online, Ms. Shipman, the director of operations, contacted me to schedule the first interview (via a phone call). During the first interview, Ms. Shipman asked various questions about my prior educations and experiences. She kindly answered all of my questions about the culture of the firm. A couple of days after the first interview, a second (video conference) interview was scheduled in which I had the opportunity to have a productive two-way conversation with Mr. Fuentes, the managing partner of the firm. We discussed my prior experiences, career goals, the firm’s culture, and various aspects of the firm’s operations. Both Ms. Shipman and Mr. Fuentes established a friendly atmosphere in conducting the interviews. To me, this was a good indicator of the collaborative culture of the firm.
