Recruiter reached out to schedule a meeting with the hiring manager. When I met with the manager, he was 5 minutes late and already in a foul mood. He didn't know whom I had spoken to already and seem irritated that I hadn't met with the recruiter prior to our meeting, asked one question about my history then basically wrote me off. Additionally, he made it QUITE clear that he was disgusted with the company's mission of helping to end factory farming and kept ranting about how it wasn't a food company (kept bringing that up, unprompted). Not sure why he'd want to work at a startup that claims to have a cause behind it, but it does speak a lot about the company.
