Lizzie contacted me for an interview - I have significant hosting experience. I arrived early and was told to wait outside. Eventually someone came out and asked a single question before walking away from me without saying a word. The issue seemed to be my availability. The interviewer did not introduce herself or the role or the establishment. I was under the impression Collins Quarter was run by a restaurant group and maybe one of the other restaurants would consider my application. No one followed up with me or even said goodbye. I found the entire process frustrating and dehumanizing. At least now I know that Collins management is rude… I dodged a bullet.
