I applied online for a remote position, received an email from recruiter next day asking to schedule a screening interview via webx. There was only 1 date available for the following Tuesday so I scheduled it. Recruiter seemed nice, she told me I didn’t have to be on camera, but she seemed to rush the interview, and asked if I had anymore questions, At the end I told her I didn’t feel like I expressed my experience enough so I volunteered more details, she then said the next step would be to do a video interview with the hiring managers and I would be receiving an email with additional questions and an email to schedule. Received the email from recruiter about 2 hours later, sent the information back and received an additional email asking to schedule a couple hours later. I didn’t check my email till later but email said I had 24 hours to respond, when I clicked to schedule, it said no time slots were available. I sent a screenshot to the recruiter. Will update when I get a response
UPDATE: So I had my 2nd interview today July 24th it seemed to go very well. This time it was on camera, and the supervisor who interviewed me was very friendly and engaging. She forgot to turn her mic on in the beginning and I had made a gesture that her mic was off. I told her she should do that on purpose with every interview cause it deffinately broke the ice. I think she found that funny. The interview consisted of several basic interview questions afterwards she said I would recieve a notification 24 to 48 hours. Fingers crossed I got the job. Update: Recruiter called me today to tell extend an offer.. I GOT THE JOB. it is contingent based on a drug test and background.

I was referred through a friend.
And on the next day i had to give the in office interview.
I was fully prepared and the interview went very good. the interviewer was impressed by my answer and it was evident enough.
by the end of the interview the interviewer did ask me about the person who refer me and about the CTC that i last had in my previous organization. and just then Interviewers face went low and he became serious for no reason. though he was talking to me professionally, but he was a bit skeptical and was asking me unnecessary question that was not even related to the role or the process.
Later the only reason why they rejected my application was because my previous package was higher then what they had a budget for this role.
I agreed with the offer, but still they were concerned as the the interviewer had a very off mindset with the person who referred me.
and without giving any feed back, they just kept an email stating that my profile doesn't aligns with the requirement.
and technically i have 4+ years of experience in Customer Consultant for B2C, B2B and C2B customers with SaaS and Telecom tools.
I felt very bad, as they really bought there own personal agenda in between a candidate and the job the candidate is applying for.
I had a phone screen with a virtual interview it was easy and more of a get to know you interview. The interview process was an easy process. she only asked me 5 situational questions
