This was a screening interview with an internal recruiter. The position responsibilities were reviewed and I was asked the standard generic HR questions. The recruiter provided a timeline for a response and honored the committment. I was told that the decision was made to continue with internal candidates. I would have thought that internal candidates were screened prior to looking to the outside.
