      Entretien

I called The Buckle asking if they were hiring and the associate confirmed they were and told me to fill out the online application. After I filled it out I automatically received the email asking me to call the store to set up the interview. I called back and scheduled an interview for the next week as the store manager was on vacation. The store manager who interviewed me was very nice and created a very comfortable atmosphere. We interviewed in the back and she asked more personal questions about what I did in highschool, i.e. sports, clubs, and other activities. I was asked about what my references would say about me when called and was asked a few personality questions. After the interview finished she told me they weren't actually hiring until three months later and to call them back in about two months. I called back and was told the store manager was training their new employee and to call back later. I never did call back assuming they already hired someone. Two weeks later the store manager called me asking to set up a second interview much to my shock. I went to the interview two days later and she asked me the exact same questions but also asked about my fashion sense and taste. We connected on personal matters and she complimented me on my answers. After the interview she introduced me to the employees and asked about any upcoming days I wouldn't be able to work and jotted them down. I was told she would call or email me by the 5 p.m. the next Wednesday. She never called and so I called on the Monday following Wednesday inquiring about the position. She told me they decided to go in a different direction and hired someone else. She also said she would be emailing by Friday telling me and anyone else who applied that we didn't get the job. Two weeks passed by before I got the email. In a way I'm glad I didn't get the job, I don't want a manager who can't keep to her word and slacks off. A few days would have been okay, but two weeks for an email that had two sentences total isn't acceptable.
