Entretien
I read the reviews other people have wrote on here and most did not have a good experience at all; however my experience was great. It was a bit informal because I was interviewed in a corner of the store and the manager was wearing a hat a hoody & some jeans, but you need to remember all of their employees wear buckle brands or brands similar to buckle because they are advertising their products. Also keep in mind sales members work off commission. You get an hourly wage but you work mostly off commission. Since you will be working off commission you need to be able to talk to strangers with little to no problems you have to be assertive. I applied online and instead of getting an e-mail asking for me to call and set up an interview time I actually got a call from the manager, a day after putting in my application, asking me to come in for an interview. I went in for the interview the next day. After my interview the manager went over to talk to his other manager and came back to tell me I got the job. He said they rarely hire on the spot but even though I have no experience in retail they think I will be great there. I do advise anyone who is SERIOUSLY considering a job at buckle to wear clothes at least similar to what they sell in the store. Rue 21 has a lot of clothes similar to buckle but for way cheaper. You also need to know the brands they sell, not all of them just most of them (Affliction, Sinful (affliction line for females) bke buckle billabong, hurley, fox, roxy, miss me etc.) If you go in prepared you will get the job :)
*****NOTE: I actually got to see the paper with the questions on it it says under closing the interview that if they are interested in you they will CALL you or hire you right there; however if they say they will e-mail you they are not going to hire you
Talk about your past experience, availability, ability to follow a process, be comfortable presenting options for clothes, being on your feet, and leveraging buyer signs Talk about experiences you’ve had serving people what they need.
Very casual, interviews were done on the sales floor by the store manager and the assistant was also in the interview as well. The next day I was called in for another interview and this one was held in the manager's office in the back, instead of the sales floor
