      J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez The Broad Institute (Cambridge, MA) en sept. 2017

      Entretien

      I was fortunate enough to be matched with this opportunity via a prominent staffing agency. The first step was a 25-minute phone screen with a recruiter, who asked mostly behavioral questions with some inquiries about my current position. A few weeks later, I had a 40-minute phone screen with the hiring manager, who concentrated more on questions about my experience and transferable skills. They were very pleasant, and the conversation flowed well. A few weeks later (the delay partially being due to the height of summer vacation season at Broad), I had 8 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with the entire department, and 2 administrative professionals in other departments. Each person had a list of different behavioral questions, but most of the interviews themselves were conversational in nature instead of rapid-fire questions. It was clear that everyone loved working at The Broad, and that each individual is the best of the best in their respective field. Despite feeling like I performed well and was a good fit, I was not offered the position due to not having enough experience for one particular skill, despite being transparent about my experience with said skill throughout the entire process (which was proficient, but on a smaller scale than it would be at Broad) and said skill only being a small percentage of my day-to-day according to management. In my own opinion, I did not do a good enough job selling myself on how I could have been a true asset in the position and to the department. Nevertheless, it was a disappointing outcome. Having said that, if you are looking for a great environment with room to grow, you should certainly apply here. Even though I didn't get the position, it certainly seems to live up to all the hype.

      1. phone interview. 2. 45 min call with hiring manager. 3. 45 min call with researcher and project manager. It was a bit excessive for an administrative assistant role. But the interviews were scheduled fast.

      Horrible experience... To move forward in their application process - submit questionnaire (10 Q's) and share 3 references with no deadline. A complaint from my reference - they kept sending repetitive reminder emails which was unacceptable (this was without my permission). Communicating with their recruiter was extremely unprofessional too bc she emailed me back between 8PM-10PM. At 10PM, She replied to my reference complaint and said they will review my application, then got I rejected at 8:30AM next morning. I don't believe they even looked over my questionnaire or references skill surveys because it was supposed to be viewed by administrative teams across the institute. I will not be reapplying to this institute becuase of how the application process was inefficient. They wasted my time and reference's time, and the recruiter was very unprofessional.

      Our goal is to provide a good candidate experience for all and appreciate your feedback on moving closer to that goal. We and have brought your suggestions to our vendor to improve the process for references. The interview process of references and questionnaire was put in place to build efficiencies into the interview for admin assistant candidates that are eligible for multiple roles. We apologize that this was not the case in your situation and would be open to hearing additional feedback on the process.

      Applied on LinkedIn Recruiter emailed me asking me to fill out an admin questionnaire 4 References were also asked to fill out via skill survey 2 hour interview broken down into 4 30 min interviews with various people in the department - everyone was very nice and it was more of a conversation than an interrogation - everyone I spoke with seemed like they genuinely loved working there - seemed like there is a very good work/life balance Was emailed a writing assessment with 2 exercises making sure I was competent in responding to emails and proofreading/grammar skills 30 min phone interview with the manager Phone call with an offer! Interview to getting an offer was a 2 week process
