I was interviewed by an EVP through a zoom call which was rescheduled due to a last minute client meeting. As we know with WFH culture, it’s often interviewees are dressed for success but the interviewer didn’t any have any effort in showing some sort of respect by at least looking like they didn’t hop out of bed. They were nice but interview felt like an interrogation session. I was asked repeatedly why I was looking for a new role and had numerous times that I was recently laid off. Got a rejection letter the day after interviewing but wasn’t surprised.
