HR screening interview with a polite and friendly representative. I was given a home assignment with an 8-hour deadline (quite excessive for a job-related assignment, in my opinion). The task itself was pretty large, but I completed everything requested within about an hour. A few days later, I received feedback alleging I had missed a specific requirement—sorting something—even though the API they asked me to use already sorts by default. Either the instructions were unclear, or someone there doesn't value candidates' time.

The Tether Challenge involves building a cryptocurrency data pipeline using JavaScript, Hyperswarm RPC, and Hypercore. It requires fetching price data for the top 5 cryptocurrencies (against USDt) from CoinGecko, calculating the average price from the top 3 exchanges, and handling data quality issues while minimizing storage requirements.
