Had an initial screening with HR followed by a more in-depth interview with two data scientists (one manager and one mid-level). I was then progressed to the take-home task stage. According to HR they put a lot of emphasis on the take-home task and recommend working on it between 6-8 hours. After submitting my take-home task I was told that I would progress to the final stage which consists of 3 more interviews. After not hearing back from the recruiter for over a week I reached out to ask when I could schedule my final interviews. I was then told that the requirements for the role had changed and that I would not get the opportunity to do my final interviews. Found this pretty insulting after asking me to put in hours of work into a take-home task.

Call with recruiter, interview with 2 Lead Data Scientists, then machine learning takehome exercise. Interviews went very well, but ghosted after the takehome. No rejection email and my follow up was ignored.
