The interview process consists of 3 rounds. 1. Telephonic Technical Discussion 2. On-site Aptitude System Test (30 mins duration) 3. On-site Technical Task Round (Build an App incase of iOS Developer) Pros: The interviewee has been treated courteously and has been given a complete walk through of the company and things he would be taking up when he passes the interview. Cons: The 3rd round of interview is too strenuous. I was given a task which would take up an entire day and was expected to be completed within the day. This kind of tasks will not be useful to gauge the interviews coding skills. As only the output is expected, the candidate will be forced to do a Sample Application where he would give up all the coding standards considering only the speed. In enterprise Application development speed with quality is important. Testing only the person's speed will not be the best option to go with. I would just give an advise to the management to give the task to complete from home and validate it's code and architecture in a face to face interview so that I would respectful and not so burdening the interviewee.
