      Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had a video interview with Telecloud after applying online for a position that left me with a disheartening impression of the company's hiring process. The experience was marked by a lack of transparency, contradictory information, and an unpreparedness on the interviewer's part. One of the initial issues I encountered was a discrepancy between the job listing and what I was told during the interview. The role I applied for was advertised as a hybrid position with multiple office locations listed. However, during the interview, I was informed that the role would be in the office, contradicting the initial job description. This sudden change in work arrangements was communicated to me only after I asked specific questions about office location at the end of the interview, catching me off guard. The emphasis on collaboration within the organization was a recurring theme during the interview. However, when I inquired about the current state of collaboration within Telecloud, I was met with an unexpected response. The interviewer mentioned that they were not privy to sharing such information, which struck me as odd. Candidates need to gain insights into the company's culture and working environment during the interview process, and the lack of transparency was concerning. The interview was listed as an introductory call, yet it felt more like an in-depth technical interview, which is fine. I would have appreciated the transparency, though. I was asked detailed questions about how I would position Telecloud against competitors, manage campaign transitions and workflow management tools, and optimize process development. These questions seemed out of place for an introductory alignment interview. There were also many telecommunication questions, which, again, was odd, especially considering that my resume indicated my lack of experience in telecommunications. What made matters worse was that my interviewer appeared annoyed with my questions and repeatedly stated that they did not have the information I sought. This lack of preparedness and willingness to address candidate inquiries left me feeling undervalued and frustrated. The most surprising aspect of the interview was that it was recorded without prior notice. To be clear, at the start of the meeting, the platform informed me it would be recording. That was a bit unsettling. In the end, the poor interview experience and the discrepancies between the job listing and the interview discussion led me to conclude that Telecloud may not be the right fit for me. A transparent and respectful interview process is crucial for creating a positive impression and attracting top talent.
