J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Tekion (Bengaluru) en avr. 2021

AVOID Tekion for Frontend roles.
I recently interviewed with Tekion and it was the worst interview experience I ever had.
The interviewer asked me to give remote access to my laptop to him so that he can paste a code snippet. I think Tekion should invest in an interviewing platform or just use google docs for sharing.
Asking for system access is downright unprofessional and shows the unpreparedness of the interviewer.
At one point of time in the interview, the interviewer started shouting just to point out a line number in the code. It shows a lot about the work culture at Tekion and an absolute negative for a prospective candidate.
The interviewers need to improve the attitude towards the hiring. Interviewing is a 2-way street and not all candidates are just looking for any job - most of them are looking for a good working environment and challenging problems to solve.

1st round ; Taken by barraiser
Name or round was Programming solving and DSA but good part was that there were no Leetcode kind of questions.. it was purely javascript programming questions like polyfills etc.

Question 1
They asked me to write polyfill for deepEqual,
Then he started asking questions like closure etc and then he ask me to if you have to do multiple API calls, how will you do and how will you merge the data.

Ridiculously convoluted and pathetic process.
Initially there were two rounds conducted by a third party hiring partner, BarRaiser. First round was a Javascript/Problem solving round, followed by a React system design round. Ironically, the best interview rounds were the ones conducted by outsiders. The interviewers were really polite and asked sensible questions.
Then comes the third round, which was informed by the recruiter as a "ReactJS" round. However, the interviewer asked not a single React question and decided it would be a DS round. Well and good.
The supposedly last round was a hiring manager round, which went really well.
The drama starts afterwards. Despite being clear with my CTC requirements at the very beginning, the recruiters started lowballing me and quoted something far below my current CTC (lol). Then they went on having an hour long call with me saying how great their team is and how I should be proud about working under someone who worked with Elon Musk.
Anyway, after hearing my disinterest in their offered CTC, they asked me for my documents. I thought that's it. But boy, I was wrong.
They stopped all communication for two weeks and then called all of a sudden to arrange another interview before my "final selection". The interview was supposed to be a hiring manager round. For a frontend position.
The interviewer, throughout the interview, kept asking about devops and infrastructure questions and when I talked about frontend, retaliated saying that he doesn't want frontend specific answers. (Mind you - for a frontend position). I was flabbergasted and understood this was both a waste of my time and the interviewers time who apparently had a preconceived distaste for anything frontend.
And that was the last communication with Tekion before they ghosted me, after being in the interview process for about 2 months.
